Common Questions

Frequently Asked
Questions

Who is James Fishback?

James Fishback is a fourth-generation Floridian from Broward County. He overcame a childhood stutter through competitive debate, becoming a national debate champion. He studied international economics at Georgetown, founded Azoria Partners (a merit-based investment firm), and created Incubate Debate, a nonprofit bringing free debate leagues to Florida high schools.

At 31, James is running for Governor because he's watched too many Florida families get priced out of the state they built. He's not a career politician — he's a Floridian who's had enough.

How can I donate?

You can contribute securely through WinRed, the official Republican fundraising platform:

Donate to Fishback for Governor →

Every dollar counts — and small donations from Florida residents qualify for the state's matching funds program, which means your contribution has even more impact.

Are donations matched?

Yes! Florida's public campaign financing program provides 2:1 matching on qualifying contributions from Florida residents. Donations of $250 or less from Florida residents qualify, up to the first $150,000 in qualifying contributions.

That means your $5 becomes $15, your $25 becomes $75, and your $100 becomes $300 in campaign resources. This is how a grassroots campaign beats the big-money machine.
