Check Your Registration

Make sure you're registered as a Republican in Florida. If you're registered with another party or not registered at all, you must update by July 20, 2026.

Register or Update

Not registered? Need to switch to Republican? Florida lets you register or update your party affiliation online in minutes.

You'll need your Florida driver's license or state ID number. If you don't have one, you can use a paper form.

Choose how you'll vote: early voting, vote-by-mail, or Election Day. Find your polling place and mark your calendar.

Don't wait. Register as a Republican or update your party affiliation now at registertovoteflorida.gov.

Jul 20

Registration Deadline

Last day to register or change party to Republican for the primary. Miss this and you cannot vote for Fishback.

Aug 3-16

Early Voting

Vote at any early voting site in your county. Hours and locations set by your county Supervisor of Elections. Skip the Election Day lines.

Aug 8

Mail Ballot Deadline

Last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot. Request at your county Supervisor of Elections website.

Aug 18

Primary Election Day

Polls open 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by 7:00 PM — no postmark exceptions. Find your polling place at your county Supervisor of Elections website.

How to Vote

Vote Early

August 3 - 16, 2026

  • Vote at any early voting location in your county
  • Skip Election Day crowds
  • Bring a valid photo ID (Florida driver's license, passport, etc.)
  • Hours vary by county — check with your Supervisor of Elections

Recommended for young voters and students

Vote by Mail

Request by August 8

  • Any Florida voter can request a mail ballot — no excuse needed
  • Request online from your county Supervisor of Elections
  • Ballot must be received by 7 PM on August 18
  • Mail it early or drop it at an official drop box

Great if you'll be away or prefer voting from home

Vote on Election Day

August 18, 2026

  • Polls open 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Must vote at your assigned polling place (not any location)
  • Bring valid photo ID
  • If in line by 7 PM, you will be allowed to vote

Each Florida county has its own Supervisor of Elections who manages polling locations, early voting sites, and vote-by-mail.

Know Your Rights

You CAN vote if...

  • You are a registered Republican in Florida
  • You registered or updated your party by July 20, 2026
  • You are a U.S. citizen, 18+ years old
  • You are a Florida resident

At the polls, you have the right to...

  • Vote if you're in line by 7:00 PM
  • A provisional ballot if your eligibility is questioned
  • Assistance if you have a disability
  • Report intimidation or interference to your Supervisor of Elections

Florida voter ID — what's accepted:

  • Florida driver's license or ID card
  • U.S. passport
  • Military ID
  • Student ID from a Florida institution (with photo and signature)
  • Concealed carry license
